The sailing catamaran Amazing Enterprise
The 82-feet expeditionary sailing catamaran Amazing Enterprise was constructed at the French shipyard Dufour Nautitech in 1998. Nautitech is the recognized world leader in sailing catamaran production for private use as well as for commercial charters.
The Yacht’s length overall is 25 meters, beam – 10 meters, draft – 1,4 meters. The body is made of fiberglass. The ship can fit 16 guests and 4 crew members in its 10 cabins (2 for the crew members and 8 double cabins for guests). All cabins are equipped with toilets and showers. Two diesels Perkins engines 130 hp each. Maximum speed: 13 knots.
The yacht was a part of several expeditionary fleets, sailed around the world, been going the Mediterranean, crossed the Indian Ocean twice, worked in Madagascar, Seychelles and, in recent years, in Malaysia and Thailand. In November 2009, was purchased by Amazing Fleet company and after arrival in Cuba in May 2010 will start scuba diving cruises in the Caribbean Sea.
